Celebrate National Chocolate Month while staying on track with your diet. This Chocolate Overnight Oats recipe is easy to make—and the best part—you’ll feel like you’re eating dessert for breakfast.
If you haven’t jumped on the overnight oats craze yet, now’s your chance! Soaking the oats overnight in a non-dairy milk helps their digestibility, which is why most people find overnight oats much easier to digest than cooked oats. Rolled oats also provide magnesium, fiber, plant-based protein, potassium and are sugar free. Not to mention, you can buy in bulk, making them a cheap breakfast option.
Rather than going for milk chocolate chips, we sprinkled cacao nibs on top of the oats. Cacao is one of the most antioxidant-rich foods on the planet. It contains fiber and a number of vital minerals, making it the perfect choice to sweeten up this recipe.
