Our coaches have the experience and expertise to get our clients on their way to achieving their fitness and sports performance goals. Taryn Norwood

CPT, CNC, NASM-SFC

Education: Grand Canyon University

Taryn has been an athlete since she was five years old. She was involved in cheerleading, swimming, dance, basketball, soccer, softball, and karate in her adolescence. Taryn has been professionally coaching for over 15 years. Her coaching style is full of ENERGY and ENTHUSIASM. If you come in with a goal, she WILL help you get there! Taryn likes incorporating new, appropriate movements into her clients' customized programs. She believes that training should be enjoyable, and you can expect that in her workouts. While Taryn is fun-loving and motivating, she will hold her clients accountable to help them reach their goals.

Lisa Johnson

ACSM - EP

Lisa grew up competing in dance, but shifted to Judo and Krav Maga in college and joined a powerlifting club. Her passion for a healthy lifestyle led her to become a personal trainer. Lisa's training style is "fun with a flair of challenges.” She believes dedication and love for the sport are the keys to becoming a successful athlete. Lisa enjoys powerlifting, martial arts, and reading fantasy novels in her spare time.

Kalani Inez

CPT, NASM-SFC

Education: Grand Canyon University

Kalani is an Arizona native with a strong background in sports, having played competitive football for 9 years and weightlifting throughout his childhood. In 2020, he graduated from Grand Canyon University with a bachelor's degree in exercise science, focusing on sports performance. Kalani pursued a career as a personal trainer because of his passion for helping clients become the best version of themselves. He describes his training style as a combination of cardio and strength training and believes discipline is the key to an athlete's success.

He is also a musician with 16 years of experience playing the drums. During his spare time, he enjoys playing sports and spending time outside hiking or camping.
